It provides a real-time preview pane that perfectly mirrors your website’s theme using an actual Jekyll-generated preview template. What you see while writing is exactly what you’ll get when publishing.

Built with bloggers and developers in mind, the editor includes powerful features tailored to Jekyll workflows:

  • Full Markdown + Front Matter support - easily manage required metadata for each post.
  • Real-time 1:1 preview - renders posts using your site’s CSS and layout for accurate previews across screen sizes.
  • Image pasting and auto-save - paste images directly into the editor; they’re saved to the correct location automatically.
  • Draft and publish modes - work on drafts safely and publish directly to your _posts folder.
  • Built-in spell checker - supports ignoring words or adding them to a local dictionary file.
  • Custom configuration - define paths for images, drafts, posts, and preview templates in Settings.
