What a fucking year 2024 has been. Last year I said “It’s 2023 and the hell hole of a year is hopefully behind us” and boy could I not have been more wrong.
News of The Year
I didn’t follow the news a lot this year, but the one thing I really remember is Scotland getting thumped by Germany in the group stage of the Euro’s and the New York City synagogue tunnel incident. Labour went ahead and stirred up the UK and won the 2024 General Election, some absoloute mad land tried to assassinate Donald Trump and then somehow the United States voted for Donald Trump to the the president for another 4 years. Some far-right arseholes decided to the riot in the UK for a week, which resulted in most of them getting jailed, but least we have a good video of some guy got hit in the nuts with a brick.
Right at the end of the year we finished off with the UnitedHealthcare CEO getting killed by Luigi Mangione and boy did the internet and afar love that. #FreeLuigi

General
I spent a lot of 2024 out of the house, hanging with friends and going on holiday, so it’s been a pretty unproductive year. I’m still in the middle of re-writing GameTrakr but I’m not in any rush to finish it, as I want it to be perfect (2025? who knows).
Television
I watched 52 different shows this year with a total watch time of 374 hours, which is about 31.1 hours per month with my most watched show being The Big Lez Show. My most-watched Week was Week 32 (5 Aug - Aug 11) with 52 plays and my most-watched Month was July with 172 plays. I played 719 episodes in 2024.
